REFUND POLICY

1) OVERVIEW

This Refund Policy explains when Fusion Properties 185 (“we”, “us”, “our”) may issue refunds for fees paid through the Website or to us in connection with Website-related requests.


IMPORTANT:

- If you did not pay any fees to us (or we do not process payments online), refunds may not apply and any cancellations/refunds will be governed by the specific written agreement or invoice terms provided to you.

- This policy applies only to fees paid directly to Fusion Properties 185, unless we clearly state otherwise in writing.


2) WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENTS THIS POLICY MAY COVER (EXAMPLES)

Depending on the services we offer, this policy may apply to:

- Administration or processing fees;

- Property advertising or listing fees (if we charge these);

- Consultation fees (if we charge these);

- Application handling fees (if charged by us);

- Any other service fee clearly described at the time of payment.


This policy does NOT automatically apply to:

- Payments made to third parties (e.g., credit bureaus, attorneys, landlords, property owners, municipalities, service providers) even if we assisted with the process;

- Bank charges or card processing fees charged by your bank/payment provider;

- Deposits or rentals paid directly to a landlord/owner or their appointed agent (unless we explicitly received those funds and agreed in writing that we manage refunds).


3) GENERAL REFUND PRINCIPLES

3.1 Case-by-case assessment  

Refunds are assessed case by case, based on the nature of the service, whether work has already been performed, and any costs already incurred.


3.2 Proof of payment  

We may require proof of payment (receipt, invoice number, reference, bank confirmation) to process a refund request.


3.3 Method of refund  

Approved refunds will be paid using the original payment method where reasonably possible. If that is not possible, we may arrange an alternative method.


3.4 Processing timeframe  

If a refund is approved, we aim to process it within [7–14] business days. Banks/payment providers may take additional time to reflect the refund.


4) REFUND ELIGIBILITY (COMMON SCENARIOS)

4.1 Duplicate payments / billing errors  

If you were charged twice for the same service, or a payment was processed in error, we will refund the duplicated/incorrect amount once verified.


4.2 Service not delivered (where applicable)  

If you paid for a clearly defined service and we did not deliver it within a reasonable time (and the delay is not due to you), you may request a refund or an alternative remedy, depending on the circumstances.


4.3 Cancellation before work starts  

If you cancel a paid service BEFORE we begin work, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, subject to any non-recoverable costs already incurred (if any).


4.4 Cancellation after work starts  

If you cancel AFTER we begin work, you may be eligible for a partial refund. Any refund may be reduced to account for:

- time spent and work already completed,

- third-party costs already paid,

- administrative costs reasonably incurred.


4.5 Incorrect/unsuitable information provided by you  

If we cannot proceed because you provided incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information, refunds are generally not available for work already performed or costs already incurred.


5) NON-REFUNDABLE FEES (IF APPLICABLE)

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the following are generally NON-REFUNDABLE (where relevant):

- Fees for work already completed;

- Fees covering third-party services or checks (e.g., credit checks, verification services) that have already been performed or paid for;

- Urgent/priority service fees once the service has begun;

- Listing/advertising fees once a listing has gone live or advertising has started (because costs may be incurred immediately);

- Card/payment processing fees that are charged to us and are not recoverable (where applicable).


Note: Whether a fee is non-refundable should be clearly disclosed to you before you pay. If it was not disclosed, we will review the circumstances fairly.


6) PROPERTY TRANSACTIONS, RENTALS, AND DEPOSITS (IMPORTANT)

If your matter involves a rental, sale, holding deposit, reservation fee, or similar:

- Refund rules may be governed by the specific written agreement (e.g., lease, offer to purchase, mandate, deposit agreement) and applicable law.

- Fusion Properties 185 can only refund funds that were actually received and controlled by us (and not funds held by a third party).


7) HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund, please email us with:

- Your full name and contact number;

- The service you paid for;

- Invoice number / reference number;

- Payment date and amount;

- Proof of payment (receipt/bank confirmation);

- The reason for the refund request;

- Any supporting documents.

8) REVIEW AND OUTCOME

We will acknowledge your request within [2–5] business days and may request additional information.


We will notify you of the outcome (approved/partially approved/declined) as soon as reasonably possible. If declined, we will provide a brief reason.


9) CHARGEBACKS / PAYMENT DISPUTES

If you believe a charge is unauthorised, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue quickly.


If you initiate a chargeback through your bank/payment provider:

- We may pause processing of your refund request while the dispute is investigated;

- We may provide relevant transaction records to the payment provider as part of the dispute process.


10) CHANGES TO THIS REFUND POLICY

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on the Website with an updated “Last updated” date.
